I have broad ecological research interests that involve the study of species interactions in nearshore, estuarine, and marsh environments. The majority of my research focuses on quantitatively measuring impacts of non-indigenous species.

IDEAS is a National Science Foundation-supported interdisciplinary training program in the area of infectious disease ecology. Build a strong conceptual foundation in infectious diseases spanning sub-cellular to biosphere scales. Coursework, workshops, and specially designed research opportunities teach students the quantitative methods of modern biology. A PhD in Ecology. Our work is aimed at identifying the factors that maintain, diminish or improve the provisioning capacity of streams and rivers and the mechanisms by which these influences occur.
