Black Oak Farm: How Chestnuts Fall
http://blackoakfarmva.blogspot.com/2010/10/how-chestnuts-fall.html
Home of Virginia Chestnuts. Monday, October 11, 2010. A few weeks ago we saw the chestnut shells beginning to form on the trees. This week, we noticed that the shells were turning from green to brown. Yesterday the shells opened, revealing the chestnut. And today, the shell and the chestnut fell to the ground. Ramblings of a Tired Instructor. My thoughts on educating individuals to perform in today's working environment. Monday, October 10, 2011. Buzzwords, Bad Ideas and Self-Promotion. Quite a few of my friends and acquaintances recently went to an "educators" conference. When they, almost universally, mentioned they probably wouldn't be returning it didn't surprise me all that much. Given the economy, and the fact that most of us work for a living and have to budget our travel and free time. Someone who uses...
