October 20, 2011. Your song is bass in my bones. When you say you’re unwell. But the hum is silent when your air. Rises up the steamy latitudes of calm. Quiet me from the inside by being cool. It’s always summer somewhere, go there. Treat minutes like the eternity we won. Elongating spines in moonlit playgrounds. Yes, we will die and probably suffer too. Your face never could hide that great concern. But not far from here banana leaves are plates. And the third eye is curried for good fortune.

May 14, 2011. Are a paper-thin cage. I call city and you call home. We bend here holding ground. As if a hurricane rolled over. The tragic air we breathe. It has been proven. Natural similes make everything alright. Everything is alright, like meadows gleaming. Even this cage feels less wall-like and curvy. Knowing it was once tree or treelike. In some organic way—. Don’t mind the city. Reference nor forget that words are thoughts. Coiled into symbols by someone else’s mind. Your bedroom is not a square.

May 24, 2011. Make yourself calm and confident. With the projection of colossalness. In the mirror each morning. Nicking at the tiny dreams that stayed. You’re bigger than what’s beneath you,. Awash compared to what came before. Or what will come after haze fits to water. Purse your ruddy lips, rinse the burn. From your mouth, then walk to the edge. Where ancestors made mammoths fly. Your courage will waiver,. Bone by bone, as you cull. To that stage like a flint-tipped arrow. Before you drift back.

April 13, 2011. What can I say that you. Won’t eventually learn firsthand? All cities dissipate into the night. A horse leans wayward into the wind. The grandmas of my youth are dying. Love—everywhere—is lingering on a thread. A moment will arrive in which you. Won’t remember the beginning. Just keep whispering life into art—. A dog waits to steal food from this plate. In this silence I’m lonely and needing touch. There is a horizon there I cannot lean on. These children will never hear Japanese,.

Writing is Art is Business (and Random Travel Stories). Artsy Sculpture (Málaga, Spain). I found a flaw in my achieve anything. Too much consumption, not enough creation. In other words, too much reading and not enough writing. And not enough creative writing at that. Yet writing is and always has been difficult for me because there is no turn-key solution. What should I write? How should I write it? Nobody, not even me, knows the answer until the answer appears. This process of creating something fr...

un poema al dia
Un poema al dia. Jueves, 21 de febrero de 2008. José Hierro, El buen momento. Aquel momento que flota. Nos toca de su misterio. Tendremos siempre el presente. Roto por aquel momento. Toca la vida sus palmas. Y tañe sus instrumentos. Acaso encienda su música. Sólo para que olvidemos. Pero hay cosas que no mueren. Y otras que nunca vivieron. Y las hay que llenan todo. Y no es posible librarse. Miércoles, 20 de febrero de 2008. Junot Díaz, Alma. Que lo tienes chiquito. Que no tienes pene. A momentary flash,.
Versos para todo el año
Versos para todo el año. Tú no puedes volver atrás. Porque la vida ya te empuja. Como un aullido interminable. Hija mía es mejor vivir. Con la alegría de los hombres. Que llorar ante el muro ciego. Te sentirás perdida o sola. Tal vez querrás no haber nacido. Yo sé muy bien que te dirán. Que la vida no tiene objeto. Que es un asunto desgraciado. De lo que un día yo escribí. Pensando en ti como ahora pienso. Un hombre solo una mujer. Así tomados de uno en uno. Son como polvo no son nada. Escrito por la BLO.

365poems / Little Revelations Every 24 Hours / 1 New Poem Daily for a Year / 365 Days of Rediscovering the Magic
November 5, 2011. Nobody is home, but I left the lights on for you…. 365poems is an online journal of poems written daily over the past year. Its goal was to force me to observe my unfolding life experience in a more critical, purposeful way. Three hundred and sixty five days and two continents later, I’m happy to announce that the magic was discovered and rediscovered many times over, but not always in the way I would have imagined. For lessons learned along the way, read my interviews here. And autumn ...

Her sweet sleepy face. But I have no clue. Smiles so sweetly,. What i bring to the table,. If this is just some fable. Since we were set up. By a mutual friend. At an end,. Instead of friendzone,. I thought a benefit. Like this again,. Thinking about calling you. Trying to make more points. And smalltalk my way.
