Wednesday, March 24, 2010. 500 Degrees (From the other Fatty! Yes, KK is a former Rouge-ette. This definitely makes her more of an expert on this place. But let's be honest, I love me some burgers. And I like any joint where I can stop in quickly, order, and make a quick escape. 500 Degrees is soon to be this new spot, I am almost assured of it. Was it worth it? Maybe not on a normal day. But is it worth a manageable line and the money on any day where they'll have a pretty regular amount of business?

It's me, but digitized for preserved freshness. Double Shack Burger, Fries, and Fair Shake. Last time I visited Shake Shack I was less than impressed. The meal was ok but expensive, and generally over hyped. However I didn’t get the main stay, the Shack Burger. I let my love for portabella steer me away from their namesake. Not this time. 710) Fries ($2.65) Fair Shake. 550) = $15.25. Double Shack Burger: It is what I thought it would be. Solid. Better than the Shack Stack. Hickory Lane American Bistro.

Once we got off at the Spring Garden station we walked down to Delaware Avenue and then over to Morgan's Pier. For an "event" or better yet evening of Polido Social Club. The Morgan's Pier website calls it:. Have you ever be...

Tuesday, March 23, 2010. The Fat Girls wait in line for Burgers. or our review of 500 Degrees. Krystina here, As a former Rouge-ette when I found out last year that the owners of Rouge. Rob and Maggie Wasserman were opening a low key Burger Joint on Sansom street I was thrilled. I could wax poetics about the Rouge Burger. It is a Philly icon after all. But lets be honest here, fat kid says 12oz is a LOT of meat, and $16 bones is a lot of bones (don't get me wrong its worth EVERY penny). Fat Kid KMK out!
