I have zero artistic ability. He loves to draw with Joe and create pictures. Joe's been tutoring him in art! Here's some recent artwork Jake created. He drew these in my room after school where he sat quietly at a desk and colored for about 30 minutes! The first one is a field of flowers, some clouds, the sky, and the sun.

Friday, March 20, 2009. We spent 4 awesome days in Angel Fire, NM. It was Jake's first time to ski, Joe's 2nd time, and my 5th (although it was a LONG time ago the last time I skied). Jake loved it! He was a natural. I spent most of the time trying to catch up to him on the slopes. I thought he might be a little freaked out by the lifts, but he wasn't. Joe and I had a blast watching him and longing for the days when our knees didn't kill us! First day on the snow. Joe and Jake tubing on the Polar Coaster.

Saturday, June 28, 2008. Jake loves all things super hero. His latest is Iron Man. He really wanted the $30 mask and accessories at Target, but Joe had a better idea.make him one. I am so glad I married a creative man, because I would have been at Target buying the outrageously priced mask. Saturday, March 15, 2008. Good Cut, Baby. Jake's first baseball practice of the season was last week. Joe got home yesterday, so they went out to practice some fielding and batting. Friday, March 14, 2008. I think Sting's version is, "I'm an alien. A legal alien.". Jake's version is, "I am an alien, an Easter alien.". He made this pre-packaged Easter bunny craft today. Of course, he can't stop with just the provided supplies. He had to trick his bunny up! At least he's creative! Thursday, March 6, 2008.
