AHOAR nennt man das Sumpfland im südlichen Irak, im gemeinsamen Delta von Euphrat und Tigris. So wie im Delta fruchtbarer Boden, entsteht hier aus dem Zusammenfluss klassischer irakischer Maqam-Musik und westlicher Jazz-Klänge eine Musik, die durch die Selbstverständlichkeit überrascht, mit der die vier Musiker zueinander finden.
