Yes, we can drive up to Payson or Flagstaff, but that's not really convenient. One substitute that works really well here is ice blocking. One big advantage of ice blocking over sledding is that you don't get nearly as cold. One disadvantage is that if you fall off your ice block, there's no soft pillow of snow to fall into! Now with 98% less opinion! Saturday, November 13, 2010. The Turkey Shoot Campout. The Turkey Shoot camp out was really fun and a good experience. When we first showed up we had to set up camp. We had to make a kitchen, a big eating area, and a toilet. Not to mention setting up our tents. By this time there were about eighty people total here. My dad and I left early with two of my friends so we could go on a jeep trail called box canyon. So overall this was one of the best campouts i have ever been on.

Thursday, October 28, 2010. Beach and Tide Pools. My sister from Arizona met us and hung out with us for a couple day. We all headed to the beach for the day. It was a cold day, but we had fun in the sand. We also made the local NBC News. It has been such a cold summer they were running a story on it. They interviewed my brother-in-law and got a close-up of Chase. Here is pics of the reporter filming us. We also ventured to some tide pools. Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Slate is the new Stainless. Over the past few years we have done some things to the new (can it really be 6years old now? House in Tucson. Rooms painted, rock landscaping in the back yard, added furniture, etc. However, that was "doing" not "redoing" what was already here, so this is a first.
