Info line 0427 509 98. The ATTM is open from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm on the second and fourth Sunday of every month. Train services are a steam-hauled train on the second Sunday and a diesel-hauled service on the fourth Sunday of every month. Diesel locomotives replace steam on days of Total Fire Ban. The Alexandra Market also operates at the ATTM on the second Saturday of each month from September to May with one of our smaller locomotives operating a service. Info line 0427 509 98. By the late nineteenth century it was well-known that the Rubicon Forest was home to magnificent stands of prime timber. Little could be done to exploit this without an efficient form of transport. A branch line from the Mansfield railway arrived at Alexandra Road (Koriella) station in 1890. There it stayed for almost twenty years, just out of the reach of the sawmillers. The line was finally extended to Alexandra township in 1909.
