With their rise in income and status came the rise in instrumental literacy. No longer were grand compositions limited to the privileged, now every day citizens could lose themselves in the majesty of sound. The piece that I have chosen is that of Antonio Vivaldi titled. It was taken in Nipomo, California in 1936. This photograph shows the hardships that the Great Depression had on people throughout the Early Modern era.
