The goal of my blog is to share some of my wonderful memories on the ground, at sea and in the air. Week End On Call (Twice). Since this Week-End the mighty Cirrus is on the adriatic coast with Massimo the fact that I am on call for the factory doesn't bother that much. Hoping dear friend Bastian G. can take care of most of the transplant coming our way in Zurich, I take the chance of driving to Ticino despite the massive German/Dutch/Swiss holiday exodus. You don't have to travel far to be on holiday.

After a long shift @ the factory we are looking forward to a few days off. Unfortunately the weather report for Switzerland is not looking good and we fear for the well earned rest. The goal of my blog is to share some of my wonderful memories on the ground, at sea and in the air. After a Hard Week @ Work. The plan was to leave on Friday evening for Lugano. Good friend and famous plastic surgeon Veith M. was on duty 'til Saturday morning and then off, so I decided to wait for him and take -off together for the week-end. And since we have all the time in the world, we'll make a lunch stop on the french Riviera. We soon come out of the clouds and enjoy the sun on our way to the south.

The goal of my blog is to share some of my wonderful memories on the ground, at sea and in the air. With dear friend Albin E. we decide to take the mighty Cirrus out to get some rust off his wings and off the pilot's IFR skills. The plan was to take off from Lugano, one low pass in Milano Linate and back for supper. Well, what sounded like a good plan and was accepted by Eurocontrol turned out to be a twist and turn odyssey. So new airport, new ILS, new tower, all the previous setup is gone in a second.

The goal of my blog is to share some of my wonderful memories on the ground, at sea and in the air. After a long week @ the factory we were looking forward the "long" week end off. To celebrate the 6th anniversary of our first flight to Sardinia we decide to visit good friend Alberto T. in his villa on the beautiful Mediterranean island. The mighty Cirrus cannot wait, neither can the pilot. The passengers are (for once) on time and we take off heading south. The next morning is as usual spectacular blue.
