I’ve lied about things, I’ve been angry about the pain meds and how they’ve changed him and taken him away, I’ve yelled, and argued, and given the cold shoulder. There are things I could do better. I’m almost ready to give up. I can’t make someone love me, I can’t make someone care enough to take better care of themselves. I want a better life though.
