Most Strange: Old diary entries
http://evanritchie.blogspot.com/2010/08/old-diary-entries.html
Monday, 9 August 2010. I don't like to use this blog as a diary. That's what a diary is for. However, I found an old diary from the start of the year and remembered scribbling these pages in the Shanghai Dumpling House in the CBD. The boat picture was done the following day, just before midnight at Eastern Beach, Geelong. Posted by Evan Ritchie. 10 August 2010 at 09:21. I love your illustrations! And its cool getting to read a page out of your journal :). 10 August 2010 at 09:32. 11 August 2010 at 06:55.

Most Strange: Hair brush woes
http://evanritchie.blogspot.com/2009/12/hair-brush-woes.html
Thursday, 17 December 2009. What chance do I have, with ears that stick out. And freckles all over my face? My little eyes bulge, or so I'm told,. And my hair won't stay in its place. I look at my sister, though nobody's kissed her,. There'll be guys lining up for sure. But I can't keep my frocks free from muddy brown spots. How much longer must I be four? When I'm five, says my Dad, there'll be school to be had. I'll be certified, ranked and reviewed. But Dad, I'm afraid that I won't make the grade.

Most Strange: Chapter 1, page 1
http://evanritchie.blogspot.com/2009/04/chapter-1-page-1.html
Thursday, 2 April 2009. Chapter 1, page 1. From one such room, a paper boat fell and landed silently on the water. Another followed, seconds later. Then another. After a few minutes, a fleet was gathered beneath the window. Some were upright, others lay on their sides, each a different design. On each side. After switching off the lamp, he pulled himself up onto the bed, lay on top of the blankets and stared at the ceiling. Well, that was the first page of the first chapter of my first children's novel.

Most Strange: What's this nonsense?
http://evanritchie.blogspot.com/p/whats-this-nonsense.html
So, what's it all about? I see- what are they? Why are there chickens? And badly drawn ones, too. Actually, they're not chickens. In fact they're distinctly not chickens. Around these parts they're known as (not)chickens or! Chickens for those with a background in logic or coding. Here's an explanation. And the tiny people in that assemblage up the top? I'm sorry. What? I'm sorry. Thanks for enlightening me. Are you going to answer my question? That leads to more of them. Poetry here and there? He doesn'...

Most Strange: Mini Reviews
http://evanritchie.blogspot.com/p/mini-reviews.html
Little Dragon's self-titled first album oozes soul in every dance-electronic-pop-filled track. Let the lead singer's voice soothe and let the groove take you places. Each track has an appealing emotional ambiguity and with a huge range on this first album, from floating ballads to beat-heavy groove to the more trance-esque, it's a great offering from Sweden's electro-pop scene. One word: Soulful. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Stories no one wants to hear, pt. I. Stories no one wants to hear, pt. II. So, I ...
