Friday, May 29, 2015. Lucy is still pretty uncertain about walking on uneven surfaces. She was all about getting into the water! I suppose it's a right of passage. As parents no matter how hard we try: children, if given the chance, will. Eat sand.and rocks.and seaweed. I suppose that's what gave us our great immune systems. So as we continue to try to avoid letting her straight up munch sand, the occasional sampling isn't going to hurt her! Sand, sand everywhere! This is disgusting, mom! Feet, feet, feet.

Saturday, August 1, 2015. For the last two summers we've played on a co-ed recreation league softball team with some folks from our church. This year Isaac's brother, Luke, joined us, and Sarah (my sister), filled in with us a couple of times. It's been a blast! We even have a little mascot! Saturday, August 1, 2015. Visiting GG Pat - Vintage Dress Edition. Lucy and I went on a long-overdue visit to GG Pat! Lucy wore a dress that GG had made for me when I was 3 (to attend my uncle's wedding). It's still just as beautiful as when it was new. I love the vintage feel of it, and hope my mini-me gets to wear it for quite a while (since it fit me at 3, I think it will still fit for some time). So glad, too, since I favor her in looks. ;). Sunday, August 23, 2015. Well, Excuse You! A short glimpse into Lucy life. I'd heard. About this from my mom via a phone call, but I hadn't experienced it until tonight.
