Life is a Highway and I'm riding it. At the end of September Greg and I had our first get away in years! We went to Chicago and had a blast! It was so much fun just being together the two of us. Don't get me wrong, we love taking our kids places, and believe me we do, but it was so nice not having to plan so much. We just got to do whatever we wanted, when we wanted. On the train, going to the city. The beautiful skyline. I must say for being such a huge city, it is very clean. We went on the Farris Wheel.

Life is a Highway and I'm riding it. Our Christmas card this year! I know this is a lame way to send out our Christmas card, but I'm just amazed I got it to this point. I wasn't going to do anything since we are so swamped trying to move during the holidays with a "newish" baby and two other kids. Life is crazy! But here it is anyway! We hope this letter finds you well! Brinley: She is five years old and has grown up so much this year! She is so sweet and is willing to do anything that is asked of her.

The Difficulty of Doing Less. It seems like it should be easy to do less, but I find it to be pretty hard. It’s so much easier for me to throw out an old pair of shoes or give away a shirt, but to declutter my commitments? That’s not quick and easy. Some of the things I need to do are unavoidable, so my solution is to get them done in the quickest, most effective way possible. Productivity and simplicity often overlap, although they’re not the same. What would happen if we simplified our commitments?

Friday, April 9, 2010. Crazy Month of March! W is getting so big. I took him in for his two week appointment and he had gained a whole half a pound! I have so much milk. We decided to try and take some pictures on our own obviously this isn't professional and is it just me or do these pictures always come out looking like a wannabe/chubby/cheesy version of a magazine cover? Oh well here they are anyways obviously i'm a far cry from a model. SIX WEEKS AND THREE DAYS TILL THE BIG DAY that is if he's on time :). As always fishing is part of going to the beach condo. Gotta love the feeling of catching/cleaning/scaling/cooking your own dinner?

Wednesday, November 19, 2008. OUR TRIP TO WISCO. That was just to give you an idea of how small this town was. But aside from the size we had an awesome time! This is us freezing to death bc it was 20 degrees with snow flurries and here is my brother wearing shorts and a t-shirt! Monday, May 11, 2015. My baby girl is growing up. I keep telling her to slow it down, but she's not listening! The first month of her life, I was in absolute heaven and cuddled that sweet girl day and night. From the time she was one week old until she was three months she would only wake up once a night at 4:00 am and then she'd sleep in until 9:00 am. I wish that was still the case!
