Roll over a thumbnail to see the full-sized image. My dad, my brother and me. Billy and me at age 2 with cousin Cheryl. Casts were supposed to stop my feet from turning outward. The early 60’s. I didn’t get a wheelchair until I was four years old. Not sure if I had one yet. Spunky (the cat) wishes he were doing something else! Rubber braces needed by age 4 for standing and limited walking with crutches. On the swing set with Billy, my cousin, Kathy, and friend, Michael, at Tahoe. Don’t we look 70’s!
