I thought I didnt hear something right and repeated "Three thousand, rupees? But then after going home I looked up at all the brochures stacked up and thought atleast I can make 5 rupees more when I give away this month's waste paper :-). The trek was being organized by Lacchhii of bakpackers. I got in touch with Lacchhii through Bharata. Who was seriously considering doing this trek and was looking for travel partners. After a lot of deliberation and assessment of my current physical condition I decided to join the trek. 21008 Delhi to Rishikesh.

The circumstances under which Sri Vadiraja Swamy composed the Shri Shrishagunadarpana Stotra is very interesting. Sri Vadiraja’s story convinced the King. He went on to perform the Japa 1000 times. Needless to say, it worked! It is believed that chanting the stotra in the above manner 1000 or 100 or 54 or 28 or 12 or 8 or 5 times is extremely beneficial. Note: You can download the stotra from the Mantras.
