Literally, the day after Halloween ended, the Christmas decorating started. Monday, September 14, 2009. Swine flu in Japan. Here is a display in your typical drug store. The sign right in the middle is for masks. As the flu got closer and closer to Ubuyama, public buildings (everywhere) starting placing hand sanitizer at entryways. These are the ones at my school:. My parents might seem disoriented if you see them anytime in the next month. They might need some time to re-adjust after they return from a really strange trip with their overbearing and bossy son in Japan. However, their overbearing and bossy son only lost one parent once (sorry dad), so the bossiness seemed to have worked. It was great to see them!

A year (or two) in review. April 11, 2014. I haven’t been highly motivated to keep this up to date, but perhaps I should be trying harder. In the last year I have. Moved back to Utah from Japan. Started back in school: taking undergraduate classes at the University of Utah in the Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department. Did an internship with the National Ability Center. Uhhh derrr. . . →. July 18, 2011. I planned a weekend trip to Tanegashima. With some friends. The main goal for this trip was to do some scuba diving. Down on this island below Kagoshima. But we planned to have some other fun too! Sunset from where we stayed. Yumiko, CJ, Rebeca and Amanda at the Tanegashima branch of Land Earth. Right when we got there CJ the owner of the Land Earth. Company that I have done a few rafting trips with picked us up from the ferry and brought us to the Tanegashima branch.
