An Engineer's Aspect: January 2014

http://anengineersaspect.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html

Friday, January 31, 2014. Nikola Tesla Translates the Poetry of Zmai Iovan Iovanovich. Today, I am posting something a little different from Nikola Tesla. Throughout his life, Tesla talked about his early love for books and even describes feeling compelled to read everything ever written by an author once he began reading the author's writings. I can only imagine that "Zmai" Iovan Iovanovich was one such author. Robert Underwood Johnson and Nikola Tesla worked on the poem translations together. Their mos...

Tuesday, March 6, 2012. A Brief History of Me. Lately, I have been receiving quite a few E-mail inquiries about my history, interests, etc. My favorite question recently was, "So, are you peculiar because you found Tesla? My answer, "Any female rocket scientist who has competed at Miss America and does math in her spare time for fun is already peculiar- without Tesla. Did I mention I live in a Monolithic Dome? So, please feel free to skip this blog post :). A Brief History of Me. Butnot only is David a g...

Richard, Ashley, Parker, Colette & Mitchell: October 2014

http://richardashley.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html

Saturday, October 25, 2014. If you didn't know,. I grew up in Texas. Lately my kids have been on a bit of a cowboy streak. So Grandpa Gary would be proud. It all started at Chick-Fil-A's family night. Cowboys vs. Indians. Mitchell's First Attempt at a lasso! Parker sure knows how to swing it around,. But he's not quite sure what to do after that. This turned into Parker's desire to dress like a cowboy everyday,. And eventually his realization that he was a cowboy without a horse. And then they got bored.

So the teacher said they could dress like they were 100. Kid's just grow up so fast. Before you know it, they have grey hair. I asked him why he did that, and he said,. Colett...

Monday, January 5, 2015. Hello This is Richard, filling in as usual for the usual usual. We had a lovely day here in Idaho. With a temperature of 38. And windchill of 20. You could hardly say it was actually winter! The date is 1/5/15 or 1515 for short,. And we're going to be talking about that number. For the rest of our lives. You see, in our family it was boys vs. girls,. And boys were winning! But now Britta Jane. Has come to be with us,. And she has tied it all up. Here is the momma. I love that game.

A Conversation in Rear View: March 2010

http://rearviewconversation.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

A Conversation in Rear View. Posted by Nanette South Clark. So, I see these signs everywhere along the freeway these days. I told Gary that I believe the protesters to be cowards as they always leave their protest signs unattended. Gary subsequently took Evie, Catie and Sydney on an adventure and the little girls bravely showed their support for the cause and Gary caught it on camera. Check them out! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). BUT it snowed about EIGHT inches on Christmas Eve. Here's our sweet little Mary. I love how she knows how to pose for pregnant pics already. What's this fuzzy thing? Photobombing a nativity scene is not okay. Greg reading us a wonderful Christmas story about a puppy. We spent Christmas Eve at Aunt Janet's, next door.

Friday, May 29, 2015. Well it's Friday night. I remember when TGIF meant sitting through Steve Urkell. Luckily that's not all the 90's have to show for themselves. So here's my TGIF lineup. What better way to say TGIF that with GIFs! Look what I can do! Today was HAWAIIAN DAY at school! The first time Richard did this,. He twisted his ankle really bad,. And then I realized. I LEFT THE LENS CAP ON! So this was with a twisted ankle! Thursday, May 14, 2015. The last few weeks have been really exciting.

Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Here she is at 9 days old. Which are your favorites? Saturday, January 17, 2015. Parker and Colette LOVE to dress up. That's an understatement too. It's all they want to do. So, when it was dress-up day at school last week,. The assignment was to dress up as someone from the past,. Or as what you would want to be in the future. This beautiful costume was a gift from Santa Claus. Any excuse to wear make-up. OFF WITH THEIR HEADS! Did she ever actually say that? The kids have be...
