Can change everything.so I'd better lift up my eyes! Tuesday, October 22, 2013. Breaking the oatmeal fatigue. My middle girl is not a huge fan of oatmeal. I don't blame her one bit. But my oldest loves it, and it is economical. So they eat it for breakfast a lot! Anyway, every now and then I have pity on Libby and try to shake things up a bit. Today's version used cocoa powder and rainbow sprinkles. It went over quite well! Saturday, October 19, 2013. Fun with hair and other happenings.

Older She no longer sounds like that baby girl I've known for the last 6 years. She sounds like a kid! A big kid, with big interests in the world! With a baby in my arms, the camera didn't come out much on her day. I guess that's natural. She started the day with a delightful spread. Her Daddy let her pick out a couple of her own treasures from a bulk bin.

It feels a tad like youth is behind me. But I'm sort of looking forward to wiser years ahead, God willing. It was a lovely day, regardless of the deep undercurrents. And all we have is today, anyway! So much fun in one day! Thursday, November 21, 2013. My baby is FIVE! Where did that tiny baby go? She cracks me up!

After a consult with our wonderful midwife and a few private pow-wows, we decided that heading to the hospital for pain relief was the way to go. I was immediately able to relax! Yes, this was the right thing for this labor. After roughly 12 hours of very comfortable labor with an epidural and 1 intense hour at the end when the epidural stopped working, our sweet Jubilee Joy entered the world. November 11, 2014 at 3:40 PM.
