Monday, March 24, 2014. It's Been A Year. It's been a year. A year since I stepped way out of my comfort zone and my steady life in the States. I jumped feet first into life in Mexico. I've been so busy doing so many things that I haven't stopped to reflect on how to explain how much life has changed for me in a year. So here it goes:. I flew back to the States. I worked for the summer. I moved to Athens. I got three new roommates. I started college at UGA. Go Dawgs. I found a new church. I applied for a...

Mission: Share: Village Day!

http://www.annasandersmissionshare.blogspot.com/2013/04/village-day.html

Monday, April 22, 2013. Fair warning, this is another long post! But it is my favorite one so far, I think. It was a new experience for us and something we learned so much from. On Saturday, we headed out to a local village to see what it's like out there. It's very different from the city that we live in, but it was still great fun. John and Jenny live in a village about twenty or so minutes outside of the city, and Jenny planned a whole day for us to experience village life! We made tortillas BY HAND!

Sunday, May 19, 2013. I apologize in advance if this post incites jealousy. It just might. This is the beautiful house that we stayed in, Flor d' Mar or Flower of the Sea! The view our of our "front door". Though there was no door. The view form the palapa or roof hang out area. Part of the house. There were beautiful flowers everywhere! The palapa in the top right of the picture, along with Natasha and Ellen's room to the left and Haylee's to the right. The beautiful picture window in the main house.

Mission: Share: Wait

http://www.annasandersmissionshare.blogspot.com/2013/04/wait.html

Monday, April 22, 2013. There are so many verses in the Bible, but in Psalms especially about waiting on the Lord. Ps 37:7- Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Ps 27:14- Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Ps 38:15- Lord, I wait for you; you will answer, Lord my God. Ps 40:1- I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. Did you see that? He doesn't...

Monday, May 20, 2013. Most people have heard the verse in the Bible that says there is a time and a season for everything. I have experienced seasons in my life, but I have never experienced one like this. Ecclesiastes 3:1-14:. There is a time for everything,. And a season for every activity under the heavens:. 2 a time to be born and a time to die,. A time to plant and a time to uproot,. 3 a time to kill and a time to heal,. A time to tear down and a time to build,. 4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,.

Significantly Insignificant: March 2015

http://imsignificantlyinsignificant.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html

Here you will find the thoughts of an ordinary woman who serves an extraordinary Savior. Monday, March 2, 2015. Sitting Back and Watching God Work. This past week God did some pretty cool things. Not that He isn’t always doing pretty cool things, but this week it was abundantly clear that He was the one doing them, and not anyone else. Just looking back over the past 7 days His hand is overwhelmingly clear in everything that happened. The 1 who came back was one who had struggled a lot the day before, bu...

Here you will find the thoughts of an ordinary woman who serves an extraordinary Savior. Monday, November 10, 2014. What Commitment Looks Like. Today is a special day in my family. No, it’s not one of the 17 bagillion birthdays that we celebrate every year. Instead, today is the day that my parents are celebrating. Since I can’t be with them to celebrate this big milestone, this blog will have to serve as my Happy Anniversary to them :). I love you Mom and Dad. Happy Anniversary! Wrapping up the Summer.

http://imsignificantlyinsignificant.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html

Here you will find the thoughts of an ordinary woman who serves an extraordinary Savior. Saturday, August 1, 2015. Something to write about. I have been wanting to write something for quite some time now, knowing that it has been a while since I updated all of you on my life. But, to tell you the truth, I haven’t really felt like I had anything to share. To steal a phrase from some fellow missionaries, there are only so many ways to say that I am still in full time language study. Wrapping up the Summer.

Here you will find the thoughts of an ordinary woman who serves an extraordinary Savior. Monday, October 20, 2014. Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you were supposed to be doing something, and you knew that it was a good thing to do, but you just couldn’t find the motivation to get up and actually do it? Well, for me, that happens a lot…(And I’m not just talking about when I don’t feel like getting out of my warm bed and walking around in the cold concrete house! That is where I need to ...

Significantly Insignificant: The wheels on the bus....

http://imsignificantlyinsignificant.blogspot.com/2015/05/the-wheels-on-bus.html

Here you will find the thoughts of an ordinary woman who serves an extraordinary Savior. Saturday, May 9, 2015. The wheels on the bus. We ran BACK to the counter, switched our tickets, hugged our 2 friends who were staying behind, and got onto the bus at the last second! As if all of that wasn’t enough, God decided to do one more cool thing for us. The tickets we were able to get weren’t next to each other, which was fine, because we were just thrilled to make it on at all! Wrapping up the Summer.
