My walk with food and beautiful plants and flowers. Monday, May 18, 2015. When my baby Andrew died. A very good friend gave me a pot of Chrysanthemums. G said she didn't want to give me a bunch of flowers. Since I had requested," No flowers." Later, when the flowers were gone, she told me that I could grow it in the garden. It thrived and flowered well. It gave me a mixed feeling of my thoughtful friend G, and it also gave me feelings of how much I missed Andrew. Ann, Chen Jie Xue 陈洁雪.

This road is lined with one hundred years old Pohutukawa trees. 6 trees were slated to be chopped to make way for a road extension. This is really sad. In Singapore, I grew some. My friend B commented that she didn't have go to Japan to see Sunflowers. She only had to look out of her kitchen window to my garden.
