A Small Still Voice: May 2012
http://eightmortons.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Special kids on RR! Ok, have to spotlight four special kids from Reece's Rainbow. Please look at these sweethearts and help find their forever families! Newly listed on RR! Let's find their families! Sticks and stones can break my bones. What kind of impression are they giving to everyone around them? The point is, it looks nice and fresh now, ready to have some grass seed planted, a firepit made. But we know what's under that. And it's not pretty. Monday, May 21, 2012. Got an old ...

A Small Still Voice: July 2012
http://eightmortons.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 27, 2012. Quick matching grant for the Rogers! Family is on their way to finally go meet Bernadette and Mason! There is a matching $450 grant opening up tonight for the Rogers! It will run through midnight, August 1st, so anything you can donate will be doubled. They still need about $3000 to be considered fully funded, and it would be so awesome to be able to tell them to relax, enjoy their new son and daughter, and not to worry about how they pay for the remainder of their expenses! I foun...

Surgery is Over | mamaporuski
https://mamaporuski.wordpress.com/2009/12/10/surgery-is-over
Just another WordPress.com site. Living with Cerebral Palsy. December 10, 2009. I have just gotten back to the hotel after getting O settled into her hospital room. She did not get out of surgery until 11:30PM and not out of recovery until 1:30AM. She is doing great. She wanted me to bring all of her art supplies when I come back later today because she seems to think she will be able to sit up and draw…. She had on board a few meds. Op and prep times and she sailed through surgery and post-op. You are c...

Why Would God? | mamaporuski

Just another WordPress.com site. Living with Cerebral Palsy. 8220;Why would God allow a child to be born like. O went on to explain that she had read in the Bible where it said that people were disabled because of the sins of their parents or because of their own sins. I was thankful she said this part in Russian because we were standing next to the family waiting to check in. “No, honey that’s not right! 8221; was all I could reply and indicated we would talk more later. Moses was speech impaired, Leah ...

Just another WordPress.com site. Living with Cerebral Palsy. Celebrating Gotacha Days Never Get Old. July 30, 2015. Today we celebrated Z’s 8th “Gotcha Day”. We started the day out showering him with eight red balloons to awaken him. We made him one of his favorite dinners with kvas, Ukrainian beet salad, tomato salad, mashed potatoes, gravy and salmon. We had angel food cake for dessert. So thankful to have my boy to hold each and every day. From → Adoption Parenting. I love getting comments! Notify me ...

A Small Still Voice: My two favorite RR kids
http://eightmortons.blogspot.com/2012/10/my-two-favorite-rr-kids.html
Wednesday, October 3, 2012. My two favorite RR kids. Not long after I did this blog post (like within a couple of hours! Dayna showed up on My Family Found Me! So happy for her family! It takes a while for a child to show up on that part of the website, so that means her family has been working on this for probably a few weeks. I am just tickled to death, and if her family does a blog, I will be sure and link to it so we can all follow her journey home and help out with fundraisers! Spend their lives in ...
