Life and times of Lance, Kim and Linsey Mericle in the Mountains of Western North Carolina. Monday, November 27, 2006. Grove Park Inn Gingerbread Houses. We enjoyed the annual Gingerbread House competition that takes place at Asheville's historic Grove Park Inn. The work is really incredible. Over 200 works of art come in from around the country and hours are put in to each one. The inn itself is a true work of art, visit www.groveparkinn.com/Leisure for a look at it. Hendersonville Mericles: Goodbye to a Dear Friend
http://hvillemericles.blogspot.com/2006/06/goodbye-to-dear-friend.html
Life and times of Lance, Kim and Linsey Mericle in the Mountains of Western North Carolina. Monday, June 12, 2006. Goodbye to a Dear Friend. Tomorrow, after 9 years with us, our Shih tzu will be in a new home. We are sad to say goodbye, but due to the baby, taking such a tremendous amount of time we have found him a new home so he can have the attention he deserves. We prayed God would provide him a new home and He led us to someone who loves animals, and owns her own kennel. Monday, June 12, 2006.

The Sixth of September: April 2008
http://thesixthofseptember.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
The Sixth of September. After a long stretch of me forgetting to return my Netflix movies in order to receive more, I finally remembered to do so and yesterday received the first disc of the first season of The Riches. A Story That Could Be True. If you were exchanged in the cradle and. Your real mother died. Without ever telling the story. Then no one knows your name,. And somewhere in the world. Your father is lost and needs you. But you are far away. He can never find. How true you are, how ready.

The Sixth of September: Flowers Are Appearing!
http://thesixthofseptember.blogspot.com/2008/05/flowers-are-appearing.html
The Sixth of September. On Saturday my sister and I went to visit Mom for Mother's Day (a day early, obviously)! We decided that she reeeeally needed new kitchen stuff and so we went in together to buy her new pots and pans, a big skillet, some serving spoons and some nice knives. Mom's birthday is also on the 20th, so all of that was really a Mother's Day/birthday split actually. She was so excited about all her new kitchen things and we told her the deal was that she had to. She's had that stuff. I'm r...

The Sixth of September: Holy Superhero Fabric, Batman!
http://thesixthofseptember.blogspot.com/2008/04/holy-superhero-fabric-batman.html
The Sixth of September. Holy Superhero Fabric, Batman! It came out so cool that I almost didn't give it to him! I couldn't decide which should be the front on the apron, and while I personally preferred the yellow pocket on black, I felt like the poor yellow fabric was being covered up (it. Pretty awesome, after all). So I made it reversible so Bill can wear it however he likes. He says he hasn't worn it yet - he's afraid to get it dirty! The Sixth of September. Awesome job on the sewing!

The Sixth of September: Puppies!
http://thesixthofseptember.blogspot.com/2008/06/puppies.html
The Sixth of September. I haven't posted anything in forever! Now that the sun's finally coming out I may get out and do more! For now, check out these pictures I took when we went camping over Memorial Day! The dogs are my sister's but they're too cute not to take pictures of! Then one night there was a nice sunset (which I didn't photograph very well, but will share anyway) and then one that I think is pretty cool because a storm was coming through and the sky was purple! The Sixth of September.

The Sixth of September: May 2008

The Sixth of September. Can You Guess Who I Love? The Sixth of September. On Saturday my sister and I went to visit Mom for Mother's Day (a day early, obviously)! Throw away all the old garbage. She's had that stuff. Some of it's as old (or older! Then we were all invited to a barbeque by some of her friends and that was quite fun! I wish I had remembered to bring my camera! I need to get used to taking it if I'm going to have this blog, I think! I'm really tempted to rip the whole thing out and start a ...
