I can do it!: The Hollenhorst Scarf
http://queencrafty.blogspot.com/2012/10/the-parasol-scarf.html
I can do it! Monday, October 15, 2012. I was in a knitting funk last week so I decided to pull out my one precious skein of handspun and give it a go. I figured, if nothing else, I'd at least enjoy playing with the yarn. In the end, I loved the scarf I made! Here is the pattern in case you'd like one, too! It couldn't be simpler. Really. Try it! 4oz of handspun, worsted/DK weight. Size 7 (I used size 5s, but I tend to knit loose and require needles 2 sizes smaller than others.). Row 1: K all stitches.

Thursday, April 30, 2015. An Emergency Sweater for Dog. My adorable niece, on one of her way-too-rare visits, had a little souci. Her beloved dog was stark neked. Auntie had made her a sweater: could she not make one for dog? She wanted buttons; so the opening is on his belly. Don't you just love it when the duty that calls is one that requires knitting?
