Besides the garden there were a number of greenhouses, so there were tropical plants - smells and feels like home. The key attraction to me was the man-made beach. A Year In London. Sunday, June 17, 2007. Lunch at Kiasu Restaurant at Bayswater. Think only Singaporeans can relate to the name of this restaurant. Most people would take this opportunity to travel out of London. But as WaiMeng has exams round the corner, we are staying in London. Besides shopping and more shopping (except for Easter Sunday when the shops are closed by law), I decided to do some more baking. Banana and Walnut cake - moist and very bananarama.

A Year In London. Tuesday, June 12, 2007. Have been missing in action for a long while since last blog. Many reasons -. WaiMeng was busy with exams in April/May = no interesting activity to report. Basically going to work, coming home, cook, watch TVB drama - Revolving Doors of Vengence, sleep = Boring. When exams were over, I started on new assignment.
