Aka The Kayleen Show. Monday, April 25, 2011. Changes are good.right? In the last few months (or so), our lives have changed quite a bit. Aka The Kayleen Show. Monday, June 13, 2011. Mango Mustard BBQ sauce.kinda. Recently, I clipped a recipe from the newspaper for "Mango Mustard Barbecue Sauce". It looked delicious and I thought "what the hell.I'm going to throw it on a pork shoulder in the crock pot and make pulled pork sammiches one night for dinner." So, I did. DELISH! Granted, as is my style, I modified the recipe to fit my "no herbs and no spice" husband. I will warn you.you MUST like mustard! 1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce. I had revis...

Kye and Kayleen: March 2012
http://kayleenandkye.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Aka The Kayleen Show. Monday, March 12, 2012. Written by a 90 year old woman when asked about her rules for life:. 1 Life isn't fair, but it's still good. 2 When in doubt, just take the next small step. 3 Life is too short – enjoy it. 4 Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and family will. 5 Pay off your credit cards every month. 6 You don't have to win every argument. Stay true to yourself. 7 Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone. 23 Be eccentric now. Don't...

Kye and Kayleen: lamb stew
http://kayleenandkye.blogspot.com/2012/01/lamb-stew.html
Aka The Kayleen Show. Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Being the spouse of a kiwi, lamb is a frequent meat of choice in our household and I'm always looking for ways to serve it. This is a modification of a recipe I found in "The Biggest Book of Slow Cooker Recipes". It's easy as hell and super tasty. The original recipe is called "Braised Lamb Shanks and Vegetables" but, trust me, what I make is not this. ;). Lamb and Vegetable Stew. 2 lbs of boneless leg of lamb, cut into 1 inch chunks. Return all lamb and...

It's freakin adorable.too bad it's WAY too big for him. *sigh* He'll be able to wear it to Kindergarten.maybe. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
