Case Study/Fieldwork Proposal : Ireland. March 18, 2014. Of course as part of any trip costs and expenses are good to have planned beforehand. Here I have a list of approximate costs for airfare, rental car/gas, hotel rental, gear costs, general expenses, and musician compensation (being either direct donation/payment, or by way of buying drinks). 1,150 x2 (there and back). 290 for whole trip. Traveling 650km, est fuel efficiency 12km/L, set cost/L $2.11 = $130 to be safe. Dublin $160/night x 7 = $1120.
