justgosouth: Abstract thinking
http://justgosouth.blogspot.com/2008/06/abstract-thinking.html
If I start going south will I eventually end up in the same place? Sometimes in life you need to switch directions, whether you want to or not. Thursday, June 26, 2008. Josiah and I were eating breakfast outside on the patio. After a while he asked, "why are those arrows pointing down? Of course my answer was "what arrows? South of the Equator. Very observant, Jojo. I never even noticed the colored glass. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My missions support program. My palm OS software.

justgosouth: Panning
http://justgosouth.blogspot.com/2008/07/panning.html
If I start going south will I eventually end up in the same place? Sometimes in life you need to switch directions, whether you want to or not. Thursday, July 03, 2008. I'm been experimenting with our new camera. This technique is called panning. If done right the subject should be almost completely in focus (although not always necessary) with the background blurry. It took about 15 shots to get this one. Back in the day that would have been a role of film! Here are some more examples that I didn't take:.

The Nyman Family: November 2007
http://thenymanfamily.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
He was born on November 5, 2007. Monday, November 26, 2007. As many of you know, Griffin has been having some feeding issues. He entered this world nursing like a champ. This quickly turned to not latching at all and us giving him formula. Well, our little guy wouldn't even suck on a bottle! As of today, he is up to 14 oz a day (on average), and has GAINED 3.5 oz! This is very good. He is also pooping on his own (at least we hope the two poops he had weren't flukes). No more suppositories! View my comple...

The First Hundred: October 2005
http://thefirsthundred.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
In the light of eternity. "Life's a tough proposition, and the first hundred years are the hardest." Wilson Mizner. Saturday, October 22, 2005. What is it with dreams, anyway? But always in the morning, you're left wondering. Posted by Seeker @ 7:51 AM. Links to this post. Thursday, October 13, 2005. Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor. Have you ever missed an important phone call? Don't you hate it when that happens? Makes you start to wonder if you were supposed. To talk to him, after all. Here's wha...

The First Hundred: June 2005

In the light of eternity. "Life's a tough proposition, and the first hundred years are the hardest." Wilson Mizner. Saturday, June 25, 2005. Yesterday my husband and I carried out one of our annual traditions. On the opening day of the Taste of Chicago. No matter. You see, tradition is very important. Yes, it's a workout, but I can almost forget about the toil and heat if I keep alert to all that's going on around me: other bikers, fast and slow; joggers of all abilities, all. Sweating; someone at every.

The First Hundred: December 2005

In the light of eternity. "Life's a tough proposition, and the first hundred years are the hardest." Wilson Mizner. Saturday, December 31, 2005. My sister sent me pictures of her "last day of the year" project for 2005: cleaning out the narrow closet where she stashes wrapping paper, boxes, ribbons, and a variety of decorations. I can't believe all that stuff was in there to begin with! There, now doesn't that feel good? Posted by Seeker @ 9:00 PM. Links to this post. We're trying to figure him out. ...

The First Hundred: May 2005
http://thefirsthundred.blogspot.com/2005_05_01_archive.html
In the light of eternity. "Life's a tough proposition, and the first hundred years are the hardest." Wilson Mizner. Tuesday, May 31, 2005. One hundred religious persons knit into a unity by careful organizations do not constitute a church any more than eleven dead men make a football team. The first requisite is life, always. The first time I sang in the church choir; two hundred people changed their religion. A hero is born among a hundred, a wise man is found among a thousand, but an accomplished one m...

In the light of eternity. "Life's a tough proposition, and the first hundred years are the hardest." Wilson Mizner. Tuesday, November 29, 2005. I really need to start keeping a notebook and pen on my bedside table, to write down random night thoughts and those fleeting dreams. That sometimes wake me in the night. The details of last night's dream are a bit hazy, but I do know the moral of the story. Written all over her face. How could she be having so much trouble? Posted by Seeker @ 8:44 AM. Hmmmmm....
