Ballymoney Blues: Chilli Beef and Red Wine!
http://ballymoneyblues.blogspot.com/2013/01/chilli-beef-and-red-wine.html
Trying to see the upside to living in North Antrim - apparently there is one! Monday, 28 January 2013. Chilli Beef and Red Wine! Friday night and the January diet has caused enough suffering. It's time to walk up the town and treat ourselves. Mollys is a restaurant bar located about halfway up main street in Ballymoney. My ususal 'chilli beef' is pure comfort food. Washed down with a nice fruity Chilean red; just the business. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). What's actually in Ballymoney.

Ballymoney Blues: Don't Forget You're Alive!!
http://ballymoneyblues.blogspot.com/2013/01/north-coast-wit.html
Trying to see the upside to living in North Antrim - apparently there is one! Sunday, 20 January 2013. Don't Forget You're Alive! Good advice from the late, great Joe Strummer. Allegedly) courtesy of some graffiti scribbler on the sea front at Portrush. The quotation in the background is of the more traditional variety invoking people to plan for the afterlife. It may be better if we all tried to make this life a bit better for everyone in 'our wee country'. So take Joe at his word. enjoy life.

Ballymoney Blues: The Blues ...and dealing with them..

Trying to see the upside to living in North Antrim - apparently there is one! The Blues .and dealing with them. There's good blues and then again there's bad blues. On the bad side, old Mortimer has been looking after Churchill's 'Black Dog' for some time now and seeing the bright side of the road can be quite difficult. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Trying to see the upside to living in North Antrim - apparently there is one! Tuesday, 18 June 2013. Red Bay at Cushendall. Played golf at Cushendall recently and took a few snaps to record the view out towards the North Channel. It was a lovely day and despite the quality of the golf was enjoyed by all. An excellent meal and a few drinks completed the day. A very friendly membership at Cushendall GC and a visit is recommended. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). What's actually in Ballymoney.

Ballymoney Blues: Decay or Regeneration
http://ballymoneyblues.blogspot.com/p/regeneration.html
Trying to see the upside to living in North Antrim - apparently there is one! It seems to be a bit of a metaphor for modern day NI; the apparatchiks in Stormont are doing well whilst the rest of us are scraping along just about making ends meet and hoping the recession doesn't destroy all we have worked for over the years. Opposite is a street which I have been told has been largely derelict for most of the past twenty five years. Maybe it's time for some imaginative suggestions? 19 April 2013 at 11:52.
