Skip to main content. Cooke Bridges CSEP UC Santa Barbara. Embedded video for Minimizing the Power Consumption of a Microcontroller. Minimizing the Power Consumption of a Microcontroller. In this project, students worked with graduate student Merritt Miller in the Brewer group to program a microcontroller to respond to external conditions and stabilize a disordered system. The students then attempted to optimize the programming to perform the same tasks with lower energy consumption.
