Monday, December 27, 2010. Rag Quilt Christmas Tree Skirt. This might just be my favorite project from the Christmas season. I love the way this tree skirt turned out. I adapted the original pattern. Friday, February 26, 2010. Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars. Peanut butter and chocolate are a favorite (and dangerous) combination here in my house. We. Love. Them. Together. I mean we love them even when they're apart, but especially together. They're a match made in heaven and that's exactly what you'll experience when you taste these bad boys. Me Mum's Delicious PB Chocolate Chip Bars. 1 cup brown sugar. 1 cup white sugar. 2/3 cup peanut butter. 188; TBSP baking soda. 189; tsp salt.

Friday, March 5, 2010. Roasted Red Pepper Hummus. I've always loved a good hummus. I remember my husband making a quick trip to the store after a mighty craving during pregnancy. When I learned what hummus was made of, I realized that this is something that can be easily whipped up at home and just tweak to your liking. This recipe was inspired by this. With just a few changes we've enjoyed something that we just can't get enough of. 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained. 3 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice.

Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Our Very First Post - Featuring an APRON of course! I'm tying on the apron strings and going for it. We need to start somewhere, and why not start with an apron pattern? I came across this pattern last November over at The Tin Thimble. On Etsy, and snatched it up immediately. My grandmother had an apron very much like this one when I was little:. I'll post some pictures of them both (VERY different fabrics) when they're finished. Now I just need to sew one for myself!

She has been waiting for this birthday for months, mostly because she knew that it would be her first party with friends and because she'd get plenty of presents. She chose Super Bounce for her party place. When all was said and done she rated it 10-8 billion on a scale from 1-10. Success! We love you Tegan. Tuesday, October 01, 2013. Monday, March 11, 2013. We started off with green eggs and ham. We read all the different books, even at the Dr's office (a little multitasking). Did I mention we were sick in our house for a month? I'm worried if I talk anymore about it we will bring the curse of every virus/infection on our home again. Tom made some cute Thing One and Thing Two cupcakes with the girls. It required cotton candy so they were all over that. We also had a few worksheets and coloring pages that the girls worked on.

Friday, September 20, 2013. Update on The Girls. She asks me about it every day. Miss Lainey Loo aka: The Screamer is as active as ever. This girl's got a temper and she's not afraid to show it. She's mostly giggling but she also likes to serenade us with her screams, and shrieks when things don't go her way. This year was extra special for me because I got to be in Van 1 for the first time ever. It was nice to be at the starting point at Timberline lodge and see people getting all hyped for the next 48 hours of running, trail mix, honey buckets, and sleep deprivation. Tom prepping for a run.
