A lot on my mind today. had a full day of class, meetings, my first congressional hearing, and of course my roomates. instead of pouring it all out immediately like a good scholar in the field, i created my first bitstrip. because sometimes text just isn’t enough. I went to a club last night (Saturday Jul 30) and did not shake my normal tail feather as I was recovering from tummy troubles, but still had a blast. He did a 2 hour set without stopping. We left at 2:30am and he was still going strong. I would have been a sweaty mess on any other night…the dance floor was packed and throbbing! Note the very African influence… it was home. An afternoon at the beach.

Workin on my fitness. I told myself that once we set a date for the wedding, I would begin working out regularly…. well that was back in the beginning of February and to be honest, I’ve been seriously slacking. It’s safe to say that I’ve worked out more than I did prior, but definitely not as much as I would like to. One thing I have done, is get a FitBit. Anyway, as I said I highly recommend getting a FitBit if you don’t have one. If you do let me know and maybe we can be friends ;). The struggle is real.

I refuse to let myself get hooked into the "Ben" season of the Bachelor. He is boring and annoying to watch. I'm sure there are viewers like me who demand that next Bachelorette/Bachelor be someone who is: not recycled, has a personality and is genuinely looking to settle down. Am I wrong?
