Tuesday, 5 May 2015. Lovely and local: Maria Magdalena. At the moment I am really loving Maria Magdalena Van Wyk's. Illustrations and prints (i'm coveting about 5 right now). She recently collaborated with two New York based poets, Ilana Strauss and Hazel Encarnacion, to create two lovely art prints. Both pieces were exhibited in global zine collaborations at Le Galeria in New York. Maria also launched a range of 10x10cm illustrations called 'Tiny originals' at this years Design Indaba.
