I made a justification: it was raining and nothing had happened before when the door was left open. There are feathers scattered around, including baby ones and the fence is down. The chickens were attacked and three are gone, including a baby chick. I know, these are just chickens. But it is my fault, I didn’t go down and close the door. These baby chicks have had more meaning than just chicks.

We were on our way to visit my friend Sarah from college, in Salem and ended up camping out behind our friend Heather’s house for a night, which was a lot of fun to see her! After that we finally made it to Sarah’s house. It had been 2 years since I had seen Sarah, so it was wonderful to see her again! On The Road.Again. The blog has moved.

Neither Ben nor I had ever been there before and it was quite amazing. It looks fake! And there was so much about it to take in…I would love to go back someday and take a trip rafting down the Colorado River or take a hike down into the canyon itself. On The Road.Again. Monday, January 4, 2010. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year! I can't believe that the holidays are already over.I feel like we were just getting into it when suddenly it's over. We had a nice holiday. Ben did a lot of plowing because of all the snow, but he enjoys it so it's good. Now that January is here, the ball is beginning to role for us to get ourselves ready to head out on the road at the end of the month. I am very excited with a mix of a lot of other emotions too!
