Yasmin in Basel: Happy New Year
http://yasmininbasel.blogspot.com/2010/01/happy-new-year.html
Sharing my adventures in Switzerland with the people I love at home. Friday, January 01, 2010. We thought we better tell you what we got up to at the end of last year. Zahra took her first walk outside with real big girl shoes on. She couldn't really walk, but since then she has been practising a little bit inside. Mostly just standing up on her own for ages and then taking a couple of wobbly steps before she falls down again. It is very cute. And try to find me in this picture! We went for Christmas din...

Yasmin in Basel: August 2009
http://yasmininbasel.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Sharing my adventures in Switzerland with the people I love at home. Monday, August 17, 2009. Well as if going to school wasn't enough to prove I am a big girl now, today I lost my first tooth! It was verrrrrry wobbly and then I brushed it and brushed it and all of a sudden it wasn't there anymore. We had to look on the floor to find it! Monday, August 10, 2009. My first day of school. Here I am ready to go, outside the house. It was pretty scary at the start, but once I got in the classroom I was happy.

Yasmin in Basel: 3 Kings' Day and snow
http://yasmininbasel.blogspot.com/2010/01/3-kings-day-and-snow.html
Sharing my adventures in Switzerland with the people I love at home. Sunday, January 10, 2010. 3 Kings' Day and snow. On Wednesday it was 3 Kings' Day. That meant two exciting things happened. The first was that La Befana came. She is a witch who comes down the chimney and brings lollies and little presents to Italian kids. Since I go to Italian school now, she came to me too! Anyway, guess who got the king in that one? I love it because it makes me look even witchier than ever. I jolly well hope so!

It's already a new year! Happy New Year everyone. I'll just tell you a little about the year that was. Zio and Becky came and Zio taught Zahra how to headbutt. As all good uncles should. Yasmin in Basel: February 2009
http://yasmininbasel.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Sharing my adventures in Switzerland with the people I love at home. Wednesday, February 11, 2009. Zahra crosses the border. Not last weekend but the weekend before Zahra crossed her first international border, when we drove to Germany for lunch. It only took about 15 minutes to get to the restaurant (and 5 minutes to get to Germany), but still, it is her first visit to another country, so we had to take a photo to remember it. And me doing crazy Pippi-ish things. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Yasmin in Basel: March 2009
http://yasmininbasel.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Sharing my adventures in Switzerland with the people I love at home. Tuesday, March 17, 2009. A ski holiday in Adelboden. Last week we went on a ski trip. We were very lucky because it snowed lots the day we arrived, and then was sunny for the rest of the week. We were also very lucky to get a room upgrade and stayed in a great big apartment with this awesome view. I had ski school every day, which was lots of fun. The kids' day is great, because then we get to throw the confetti. Tuesday, March 03, 2009.

http://yasmininbasel.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Sharing my adventures in Switzerland with the people I love at home. Tuesday, June 29, 2010. About time I blogged! Well I'm not putting so much on the blog these days, I'm sorry, but I guess it is because I am too busy doing things to blog about them! Let me tell you about May and June. We liked the atmosphere in Munich, it was kind of like Melbourne with interesting little areas with yummy food and different kinds of shops. There was a big food market like the Victoria Markets that we liked too....June ...

Yasmin in Basel: May 2009
http://yasmininbasel.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Sharing my adventures in Switzerland with the people I love at home. Sunday, May 10, 2009. Zahra is getting big. Zahra is big enough to sit in a high chair now! She sits with us at the table sometimes, at least when she is awake. The only problem is, she REALLY wants to eat food like us too. Not long to wait now though. She is 5 months old and she can start when she is 6 months. The flowers in Switzerland are really pretty at the moment. My cousin Thomas came to stay! Zahra loved her Zia though. We had t...

Sharing my adventures in Switzerland with the people I love at home. Monday, February 22, 2010. Zahra helped me put the finishing touches to this guy, who we were rather proud of. I spent the week skiing and even went in a timed race with gates to go through and everything. I had a really cool teacher and had so much fun and have no problem beating Mama down the slopes now. (Some might say that is not too hard.). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Julia, Ellie and Max.
