Dear Stephen King,. Newer posts →. December 10, 2012 · 12:11 pm. The classic Australian story is a different kind of beast from your average novel. My limited exposure to Australian literature has shown me that sense of place and the lives of ordinary people far outweigh a strong plot. Would you agree? This year one of my reading goals was to read more Australian lit, so I dabbled in the likes of Tim Winton, Ruth Park and Helen Garner. A good start to Aussie literature, I reckon! The Harp in the South.

Giveaway T & C’s. August 20, 2016. The story of Maggie’s Birth day {The background}. May 20, 2015. There’s so much to share and tell about all this that this may be ridiculously long and all over the place, but it’s something that I want to share mostly for. So bear with me as I try and get all this stuff down and allow me a little room to try to capture what went down on the day our third daughter came into this world. And I have to get it out now before I forget one moment of it. The endless sleepless ...

http://www.woogsworld.com/2017/04/8057.html
Ten Reasons to Switch to a Barber. April 5, 2017. Dylan is an important person in my life, for he is the one who cuts my hair. Being a hairdresser means that I can show his face! He has been cutting the kids hair for years. Dylan is not your average hairdresser. He is a barber. One day, he had finished cutting their hair when I asked him whether he could have a crack at mine. And I have never looked back. But for me, that time spent was irritating. A quick towel off at the beach and I was done. On th...

Mrs Woog visits Vietnam – The Finale. March 27, 2017. One of the best things about travelling when you are a writer is that you get to write about NEW STUFF. Like, I haven’t written about washing or school shit or politics or any of the usual dribble I carry on with. Real actual stories told from experiences. And I kind of love it. The thing you need when you visit Saigon is at least a novice level of fitness. Yesterday morning, we walked and walked and walked. We discovered new and interesting n...I lik...

When did braces become cool? - Woogsworld
http://www.woogsworld.com/2017/03/braces.html
When did braces become cool? March 14, 2017. Sponsored by the Australian Society of Orthodontists. When I was a kid, as my teeth fell out, my new teeth grew in like they were at a dance party, and my mouth was the mosh pit. My parents assumed that I was an orthodontists dream. When I hit eleven, my teeth were all partied out and fell into rank and file, saving me from being called BRACE FACE. I was the exception, not the rule. Kids these days now think braces are COOL. But braces have come a long way.

Womanhood - Woogsworld

March 8, 2017. One of life’s pleasures is to get a professional massage. I adore getting a massage and always think,. Why don’t I get these more regularly? But due to time and fiscal restraints, they are more of a special occasion pursuit than an up keeping exercise. Oh, but I wish it wasn’t! I once had a special massage, a superior one. A hot rock massage in fact, which left me as limp as a noodle and my mind on high alert after the masseuse suggested I needed to Honor my Womanhood . The masseuse sat do...
