Monday, November 10, 2014. When you get to a certain age, you no longer celebrate birthdays. They're now milestones. I've gone through many changes these past few years, where I feel that I'm more reflective of my life and the world around me. I have a strong desire to purge most of the material things in my life. Thursday, August 27, 2009. DIAMONDBACK APEX - aka RITA (for now). I picked this one up back around 1993 (exact year isn't clear). It's heavy Cro-Mo, but the frame is nuke-proof. It came with full Shimano LX which is still rock solid. It started as a serious mountain bike, but now it's my daily commuter. I've added an RST suspension fork, which eventually failed.
