Dev, Bri and Kohl. We're loving all that there is to do around St. George! Last Saturday we went to Snow Canyon and hiked around some petrified sand dunes. The red rocks are so pretty, Dev says the best yet to come! Kohl is 3 months. Has discovered where his hands are and LOVES eating them whenever he can. Thinks the Bjorn carrier is the coolest (but gets heavy really fast). Hates "tummy time" but loves to take naps on his tummy. Has been to Wyoming and Colorado. Is losing the hair in the back of his head.

Saturday, January 5, 2013. Our niece Hollie Herdan was baptised on Saturday January 5, 2013. We love that we live close enough to our families to be a part of these types of events! Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Well, we're flying to NYC on Sunday. Tyler has a reading conference there so my Mom and I are going to see the city while he's in class. I hope we don't get mugged! Some days I'm really looking forward to the trip, other days I worry that something terrible might happen - you know, like in those crazy thrill movies where the bad guys have been planning the ambuse for months. Well, I'm sure we don't have anything that anyone else wants so we should be pretty safe right!

Tuesday, January 14, 2014. Carthage Illinois - Carthage Jail (original building). It was raining cats and dogs that day. Summer kitchen added on later. Keeping the children from touching things proved difficult. Room Joseph Smith and his brother Hyrum were kept in at first. Room the jailor allowed them to stay in when officials weren't around. Window Joseph was shot through, before falling two stories down. A special feeling about being in that room. Bullet holes in the door that killed Hyrum Smith.
