6655 SW Wilson Avenue. Thursday, July 31, 2008. The Penguins are Extremely Satisfied. I finally got to take the Sustainable Building Advisor. Exam that I missed last Friday. and I passed! So, now I can be fancy and put the letters CSBA after my name. Not that very many people would know what that means. Anyway, I know it's been forever since I took any photos. I hope to be back to my regular picture taking self this weekend. In the mean time, enjoy this cute penguin joke Agnes sent for me and Sami. But s...

6655 SW Wilson Avenue. Tuesday, August 26, 2008. Appointment at OHSU Kohler Pavillion. I have my doctor's appointments in this building. It's a pretty nice place and parking is free. I took my camera with me today because it was so sunny and I thought I might have a good view of Mt. Hood. However, it was a bit hazy over the river so no luck. AKA "Pill on the Hill". The tram as it heads to South Waterfront. Sculpture on the terrace of the Center for Women's Health. Thursday, August 21, 2008. Loads of Litt...

6655 SW Wilson Avenue. Saturday, September 27, 2008. Winter Squash and Leek Quiche. We went to the farmer's market again and I decided to buy a pumpkin-looking sort of squash and some leeks. I browsed around through some recipes combining squash and leeks and we finally decided to make quiches. I adapted this recipe. By adding ground beef and I used a different pie crust recipe that included sage in the dough. Very tasty. We ate one and put the other in the freezer for a quick dinner later. With a moon l...

6655 SW Wilson Avenue. Friday, May 29, 2009. Markus liked the swing in Charlotte so much we had to buy him his own. We found this one on Craigslist for 5$ and hung it in the fig tree next to our patio. The funniest part is that when we went to the girl's house to pick up the swing, Markus immediately noticed it and started smiling and getting excited, even though it was not hanging and red instead of green. 6655 SW Wilson Avenue. Saturday, January 31, 2009. Sara's Birthday Party and Markus is 1 Month Old. Sara blowing out the candles. I didn't take any pictures at my party, luckily Erica picked up my camera and took this picture of me blowing out the candles. Unfortunately there are no pictures of Erica or many of the other guests at my party. Somehow the cameras were only focused on the cake and the babies. Moira in the bouncy chair. Sopan, Rivka and Keren. Sara and Markus - Before he got cranky. Once he w...

6655 SW Wilson Avenue. Wednesday, March 11, 2009. I bought a couple packages of rings and a few toys to make the outdoor playpen into a "play gym". I tied one of Markus' light cotton swaddling cloths to the head end to give him some shade. He really likes the set up. He played and napped and played for almost two hours while I worked in the yard. 1 comment. Click here to read it or reply. Markus napping with his favorite purple penguin. 6655 SW Wilson Avenue: Backbends in the Bouncy Chair
http://6655wilson.blogspot.com/2009/05/backbends-in-bouncy-chair.html
6655 SW Wilson Avenue. Wednesday, May 6, 2009. Backbends in the Bouncy Chair. Markus has found a new way to use the bouncy chair. I guess the old way got boring. He doesn't stay in it for very long. Of course I could use the seat belt, but then he'd scream instead of entertaining himself with backbends. I'm amazed at how much older he looks for being only like 18 days older. May 6, 2009 at 11:15 AM. May 6, 2009 at 2:03 PM. How's the little man? Are you back at work? May 21, 2009 at 9:17 AM.
