Ben Lemmond | Software architect.

September 9, 2014. I am a long time Subversion user, TortoiseSVN. Primarily. For version controlling projects with a small local team, I believe it is still the best choice to get off the ground quickly. With a virtually zero learning curve (Right click- Update, Right click- Commit, auto-save passwords, etc). it is ideal for developers new to the concept of version control (i.e. most of the ones I have managed). I’ve been using Git. Run “%ProgramFiles% TortoiseGit bin puttygen.exe”. Setx GIT SSH “C...

Going with WordPress | Ben Lemmond

http://blog.benlemmond.com/going-with-wordpress

September 9, 2014. Despite the fact WordPress is built on PHP (yuck) and MySQL, and despite the fact it feels like a cop-out for any web app developer, I’ve chosen WordPress to manage my blog. The truth is I simply do not. Have time to write my own blogging software, and hell, if it’s good enough for Jon Skeet. Then who am I to complain. This blog is long overdue and any further self-imposed, perfectionist-laden features will have just to wait. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Required fields are marked *.

About | Code Glue

http://code-glue.com/about

Code Glue was founded June 3, 2014, by Benjamin Lemmond. While we look forward providing powerful, easy-to-use software in the near future, currently Code Glue is mostly a namespace for software packages and libraries. We do, however, have one Android app. For sale in the Google Play Store (in association with WageSlaveStudios. We are just getting started and are excited about what lies ahead. We believe computers should work for us, not the other way around. We like recognition and not recollection.

Random place for blogging stuff I learn and teaching others. Export all mailboxes on Exchange 2010 to PST. I was in the process of decomissioning a customer's Exchange 2010 server. Because they had not carried over all of their mailboxes to 365 there was a small chance that in 6 months they'll want to get back to one of the mailboxes. So, for safety, I wanted to export all mailboxes on the server for archiving. Used this article, but it needed a little tinker to get it to work:. PS: $export = get-mailbox.

f/40 // Caterpillar

My Current Journey in Photography. Switch the light on. Information about this photo. Posted in Category: [wildlife]. My wife and daughter found this giant caterpillar in their garden yesterday. It was chomping away and had eaten a lot of the stalks it was crawling on. For this pic, I tried to use a ring flash to see if I can get a more even illumination. I used my Tamron 90mm macro lens.
