The Tea Box: July 2010

Wednesday, 28 July 2010. The Quiet Book and The Loud Book! By Deborah Underwood, illustrations by Renata Liwska, Houghton Mifflin Books for Children (April 2010). The author of this book started with a simply brilliant idea: how many sorts of silence do we know? Explorations: Biography
http://sarahblakejohnson.blogspot.com/p/biography.html

I also love libraries. When I was young, my mother took us to the library every week, and I’d check out a stack of books and read. I almost lived in the world of story when I was in elementary school and middle school. Story was a safe and exciting place. By Marie McSwigan, Island of the Blue Dolphins. By J R. Tolkien. Sarah's...
