Scott Hallett | Sketchbook: Unfinished Comics

http://blog.scottmhallett.com/2013/09/unfinished-comics.html

Posted By Scott Hallett. At 9/04/2013 10:13 AM. Life certainly has taken a few interesting turns these past few months. As I'm starting a new job (working from home), my wife has started her own business. I worked on the website of course), and as new comic opportunities are beginning, one unfinished chapter has been nagging at me for quite some time. You can view everything in the comics. Section of the website under "Unfinished Comics" (hopefully the only entry going forward), or by clicking here.

Scott Hallett | Sketchbook: Inktober Week 4

http://blog.scottmhallett.com/2014/10/inktober-week-4.html

Posted By Scott Hallett. At 10/28/2014 4:13 PM. More than likely, I'm not going to make it to 31 drawings by this Friday. That being said, I'm currently at 20 drawings of varying success and quality, and if I had to stop today (I don't plan to, but you never know what life will throw you), I'd call this Inktober a success! My art output has been very light as of late, so producing 20 drawings in 28 days is a win in my book, especially considering I am proud of (most of) them. What I've Learned So Far.

Scott Hallett | Sketchbook: Inktober Week 1

http://blog.scottmhallett.com/2014/10/inktober-week-1.html

Posted By Scott Hallett. At 10/07/2014 10:12 PM. Another year, another Inktober! If you're not familiar you can read all about Inktober over at the creator Jake Parker's site. I thought I'd collect all the Inktober posts I've done so far into one place. I've been posting them individually over at my tumblr. If any of those are what you're in to), but figured it would be great to collect them here week to week and reflect on what worked, what didn't etc. What I've Learned So Far. For the longest time I th...

New Storefront Open at society6.com. Posted By Scott Hallett. At 9/08/2014 5:18 PM. I've decided to try my hand at selling some art prints of some of the work I've either had positive responses to, or that I personally enjoy. Rather than incur the up front cost of prints and shipping however, I've opted to open up shop over at society6.com. Used quite a bit by other artists, so I'm hoping for good things. The artwork I've included is all featured in my gallery. Links to this post. Which Plug To Pull.

Scott Hallett | Sketchbook: Inktober Week 2 (and 3...)

http://blog.scottmhallett.com/2014/10/inktober-week-2-and-3.html

Inktober Week 2 (and 3.). Posted By Scott Hallett. At 10/21/2014 5:11 PM. So technically today would mark the end of Inktober week three, but I currently only have two weeks worth of drawings. A few busy weekends, a Canadian Thanksgiving, and a paying illustration gig have all conspired against my best intentions. I have not given up though, and this still remains my most successful Inktober to date. What I've Learned So Far. I think I solved my issues scanning marker/ink wash files! I'm not a fan of the...

http://words.scottmhallett.com/2013/11/fatherhood-story-so-far.html

Fatherhood - The Story So Far. Posted By Scott Hallett. At 11/13/2013 8:05 PM. Just over 16 months ago, after 41 hours of labour, my strong/brave/amazing wife gave birth to our 8 lbs., 6 oz. first born child, a wonderful little girl. Oh how beautiful this child is! From that moment on, I have have been forever and inexplicably changed. Prior to that moment, and hard to admit, I had no idea if I could be a father. We had always talked about kids, and while I wanted kids, I never. Nope, not even remotely c...

Scott Hallett | Words: On Making Resolutions

http://words.scottmhallett.com/2014/01/on-making-resolutions.html

Posted By Scott Hallett. At 1/31/2014 11:32 AM. I know January is behind us already, but I've been thinking a lot about resolutions lately. They tend to revolve around losing weight, or doing more of what you love, or generally just taking the New Year by storm. It has always struck me as kind of strange. By Neil Gaiman. I discovered I love vinyl records, and rekindled that love of music all over again. My wife launched her own business, Hoot and Holly. So why didn't I make some resolutions to change?

Scott Hallett | Words: Welcome!

http://words.scottmhallett.com/2013/09/welcome.html

Posted By Scott Hallett. At 9/13/2013 9:40 AM. Hey there, glad you could make it. Can I get you anything to drink? The other sort of rub there seems to be the fact that I find myself perhaps not writing in my own voice when I talk about art. A lot of art writing is very dour, touching upon light sources and mood and tools used. which is great if you're focusing on art, but I'm not focused on art all the time. Sometimes I spend a week or more working on something else. So what do I do about that?

This one really sort of went sideways in terms of what I thought I was going to do with colors and what I actually did. A small Inktober 2014 illustration with some out-of-left-field colors for good measure. No story here on the character; I like ghosts, I think that much is clear.

It Is No Longer Enough. Posted By Scott Hallett. At 7/29/2015 4:19 PM. I'm going to go on a bit of a rant here, so feel free to skip to the bottom, because I think it's important you at least get the gist of what I want to say. I'm going to exercise my white, male privilege here, the inexplicable ease with which it is to have my voice heard, and say that it's just not enough anymore. Unfriend me, unfollow me, just crawl back under your rock. This is my chance, and I'm taking it. Alllivesmatter" narcissis...

Hack together a jQuery Modal Popup in Salesforce. As frustrating as it is, this behavior is by design and is there to prevent cross site scripting attacks. Notebooks of Scott

POSTED by: Scott McKittrick. Some of my christmas money went towards purchasing a Monochron Clock kit. I did encounter one problem when building the kit; the processor chip wasn’t working. However, Adafruit provides a forum on their website for support and they very promptly helped me isolate the problem and replaced the chip. The customer service is excellent. My firmware for the SpaceChron clock face can be found at https:/ github.com/samckittrick/Scotts Clocks/tree/SpaceChron. Check them out below:.
