Suddenly it dawned on me that we hadn't done any art projects together, even though he does them all the time at school. In fact, he is quite the artist! That is seriously cute! Sunday, June 22, 2008. Jacob and I returned yesterday from our trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico. We stayed for 5 nights at Barcelo Maya Tropical Beach Resort. We had a GREAT time! We played beach volleyball, beach soccer, water polo, we rode some ginormous 3 wheeler bicycle thing over the ocean, we swam in the pools, we splashed in the ocean, we relaxed. It was wonderful! Makayla got to stay with her Aunt Brandi and Uncle Brian. She had a fun week too, they are amazing for keeping her! Jacob, in the ocean.

Sunday, January 9, 2011. Today we got a super surprise - SNOW! It started around noon and went pretty steady until 5:30. We have 2" or 3". Since she's been sick we didn't stay outside for long, but we just had to go make snow angels and a snowman! We were out for about 5 minutes, but we both had a great time! They are calling for freezing rain tonight and treacherous travel conditions in the morning. We're waiting to see if we'll have school tomorrow. Its nothing like the snow we had last year.
