Kasha's stuff: April 2008
http://kashamaria.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
What makes me happy. Tuesday, April 22, 2008. I'm in the throes of it - spring cleaning. My teeny-tiny home is turned upside down right now. Stuff is everywhere. I'm so happy to be packing away the winter togs - boy, did we have a long winter! The wash machine is going and I'm washing floors and windows. We have the perfect day for spring cleaning - the temps must be in the 60's with a breeze off the lake. I can smell the lake - I've missed that this winter. I love the fresh smell of the lake. All conten...

Kasha's stuff: Studio Work
http://kashamaria.blogspot.com/2010/03/studio-work.html
What makes me happy. Saturday, March 20, 2010. Soozi came over today and we hit the studio and made earrings and pins and pendants. Well, actually Soozi made the item and I just finished it off. They are all lined up now waiting to be priced so they can go to a new home. We are all smiles thinking about that possibility. Closing the studio for the rest of the evening and heading over to the school to attend the matinee performance of The Missoula Children's Theater's The Pied Piper. Posted by Maria Birch.

Kasha's stuff: March 2009

What makes me happy. Wednesday, March 25, 2009. You know how it feels when you get together with really good friends and have a good time. Well, I had that feeling this weekend. I celebrated and cut the rug with some really good Hmong friends - danced way more than I have since this time last year. Absolutely love how the Hmong celebrate and appreciate their friends. Good food, good company, and good dancing. But it was hard on my old knees. Here's a shot of some of us doing lamvong. Posted by Maria Birch.

What makes me happy. Wednesday, July 30, 2008. I feel like I'm 10 years old. I took a bit of a spin on my friend's new cruiser bike - I love it! What a charm to ride. Aluminum frame, and those great cruiser brakes - pedal backward my dear and bear down. I want a bike like that, yes I do. I told my friend I love to ride my bike - a vintage 1965 English-made Raleigh sport, 3 speed. I absolutely love it! Posted by Maria Birch. Thursday, July 24, 2008. It's Hot in here. I'm so wanting oven roasted beets, dri...

Urban gardening in south dakota. Eating really good food, grown close to home. Thursday, July 23, 2009. When you can't garden, well garden anyway. With every other thing that needs to be done around here, we've not been able to carve out time to make the garden bigger. So after some discussion, it was decided to use containers. They are strewn about on the side deck and east lawn border. And the containers are of the "all sorts" category. Reused pots, buckets, tubs, baskets of all sizes. 2 cobs of corn.

Urban gardening in south dakota. Eating really good food, grown close to home. Tuesday, June 23, 2009. Have planted a new garden in a new place to call home. Spot was fallow for a long, long time. But the wonderful news is that this particular yard was previously known for it's prolific production of fruits and veggies. The almost acre yard contains mature fruit trees. Stay tuned for updates.we are still moving stuff across several states. Posted by Maria Birch. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 2 cobs of corn.
