It's a relaxing Sunday and I'm craving for something sweet. But not too sweet as I'm on a diet. So, I decided to whip something up. And this is really easy if you have ready-made pastry in your fridge. Puff pastry ( I used Pampas - recommended by KG - recommended by The Sudden Cook). 2 apples - peeled, thinly sliced. Juice from half a lemon. 2 tablespoon of sugar. 1 tablespoon of cinnamon. 1 Pre-heat oven to 180C. 2 In a bowl, mix the apples with the lemon juice, sugar and cinnamon. Set aside. D041 - Off...

Ikan Bilis Meehoon Soup with Sayur Manis. Hubs brought me to the TTDI Market for the first time last weekend and my, how i enjoyed the sight of it! It was clean, well organized and spacious. It really made the selection of vegetables and meats easier! With the amount of fresh veges I bought (including some super fresh fishballs too), I've decided to put it together and "create" a new menu out of it! Ingredients (for 2 person). 2 bowls of ikan bilis broth. Few stalks for sayur manis. As simple as that!
