The BCF Word was awarded 2nd place in the annual AWCC best magazine competition and the certificate was presented to Tracey Clarke. Boaters Christain Fellowship presence was much in evidence with large BCF signs in windows, banners flying and bunting. Stephanie and Malcolm Grey-smart with Jan and Ian James manned a stall with BCF literature. There were a number of friendly competitions over the weekend and an awards ceremony at 2pm on the Sunday. Special "90 Glorious Years" celebration at Ashton-by-Stone. 11-12 June, St Saviour's church have a celebratory exhibition for the Queen's birthday, and you are invited to a tea party on the Sunday afternoon. Monday, 3 August 2015. From the Grassington bus last Tuesday we'd caught a view of Aireville Park – a big recreational area in Skipton. So it was great that number one son was able to come to Norway with us, and that newly-married number three and wife could join us yesterday. We're not actually having a picnic in the forest. Friday, 31 July 2015. We were sneaky this morning – stole off our mooring very early to fill up at the water point and reverse back to the same place – we want to be tied up there over the weekend. I was pleased that both the new sound insulation and doing everything at tickover meant I could hardly hear Erin Mae myself, so I don't think anyone else could.
