Monday, January 27, 2014. Best Cookies Ever (in my opinion). Cheap canvas, cheap acrylics, messing around. Peanut Butter (Whole wheat and Oats) Chocolate chip cookies. This is doubled, makes about 6 doz. 2 sticks butter (1 cup). 1 c brown sugar. 1 c peanut butter. 2 c whole wheat flour. 1 tsp baking soda. 1 tsp baking powder. Stir in 2 cups oats and 1 bag chocolate chips. 375 for 10-12 min. They freeze well too. Wood plaque and acrylics. 1 yr old bday pics. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). August 5 on 5.

Sunday, August 9, 2015. Trip to UT: part one. First road trip for Heber boy. We took a different route to Vernal than in the past. Bad idea. It was a beautiful scenic route that added 3 hours to our already 17 hour drive. 20 hours when expecting 17=not good. Especially since the scenic route for 15 hours caused some unexpected puking from kids that don't usually puke. We medicated the ones that do. UGH. But we made it! Below Heber is enjoying his first and only sucker of the drive. Next up: Spirit Lake.

Saturday, July 12, 2014. Sectionals and Cow Appreciation Day. Sectionals for all of Northwestern Texas was held in Prosper, TX this year. There is a reason the town name is Prosper. WOWSERS! Anyway, we had a great time. We made it through 3 games, W, Th, F nights. Prosper is an hour away. We got a babysitter on Wednesday so Spencer and Lucy could go to their church stuff. But the rest of us made it the next two games. He got several great hits and scored several times. We left Marjorie and Joe home.

Sunday, April 26, 2015. Heber 5 months old. Pretty pretty roses Joe brought me on Friday. They are huge today and so beautiful! Mary's class on Friday celebrating Ms. Coffman's b-day. I think I cut someone off on the right. This little man is 5 months old now. He started laughing out loud so hard at Marjorie the other day. It was adorable.
