On March 31, 2013 Easter Sunday my Nanny went to home to be with the Lord. On April 4, 2013 we had her Memorial and I spoke and this is my speech/Eulogy. Good Afternoon, we are all gathered here today to say goodbye and to Honor my Nanny Joan Lilian Smith. Thoughts about my Nanny. For since I can remember my Nan has been there. She has been a constant inspiration in my life. Each day she is getting more frail, tired, her body is shutting down, and I do not know how to handle it. I know to Trust in the Lord, I know all that but when you are in this so much goes on through your thoughts. I read this poem this morning. Die out very fast. Wishing that her life. Knowing that her candle. Will be forever blown out. Hoping that shes okay. Of how this makes me feel.

The moment we were waiting for……. My life completely changed a month ago today when I got the call I had been begging for. The lady from the Agency said are you ready? I have a brother and a sister ages 4 years old and 17 months they will be at your house in 1 hour. As I hung up the phone I was shaking, I was so excited and scared at the same time. All of a sudden a look of disgust came over his face. I quickly examined the glass that was in my hand to see if there was something on it, nothing.
