Saturday, 3 July 2010. We went to Woolfest! And I went to Woolfest last weekend and had a lovely time. We stayed in a great B&B. With Herdwicks in the field outside and a wee tea room called The Flock Inn. With a sit-ootery too. Saturday we headed to Cockermouth and spent all day walking round the stalls looking and touching and going oooh - then it was a quick whizz round before it closed to buy all we wanted to buy! We drove down Borrowdale as far as the village of Rosthwaite (heap of stones in a clearing), turned down the lane that leads to a National Trust car park, Yew Tree farm, once honoured by no less a person than HRH Prince of Wales, and The Flock Inn. Well worth a visit. It also sells tins of baked beans. This week's car park is at Rosthwaite, Cumbria. This is either Bull Crag or Eagle Crag, memory is going! Waterfall on Greenup Gill.
