Wednesday, November 3, 2010. I Should Know Better. I just want to feel like I can breathe again. I just want to see my husband relax again and actually be mentally present when I am having a conversation with him. I get so worried about him. Sometimes I just want to scream "it's enough! I just have to keep reminding myself that we have made it this far and we only have 7 1/2 months to go. Piece of cake! Why is it that the closer you get to some much anticipated event the slower time seems to go?

Monday, February 8, 2010. Coming Out of Her Shell. At the kids' school they can earn "go bucks" for positive. Behavior. Things like walking in the halls, helping others, turning their homework in on time, etc. Once a month they get to turn in their go bucks to purchase small items or special privileges. This month Emma bought the privilege. To lead the school in the Pledge of Allegiance. I suppose no matter where you are in life there always seems to be a better destination on the horizon. Tuesday, May 10, 2011. The Best Bus Driver Ever! He has asked every morning since if today is the day he gets to go on the bus with the kids. Well the day finally came! We got up this morning and ALL got dressed to go to school. The bus pulled up and he went running! We drove up to the school and hung out on the bus until all the kids were off and then sat talking to Miss Kathy while we waited for the buses in front of us to pull out. Then Miss Kathy drove us back home. How cool is that!
